The Conjuring House - Pt. 1

The Conjuring House - Pt. 1

In 1970, Carolyn Perron discovered the Old Arnold Estate in Harrisville, Rhode Island quite by accident. Carolyn was a wife and mother of five daughters. When she stumbled upon the estate she wasn't looking to relocate her family but after seeing the land and that old New England farmhouse, it all seemed to good to be true. The Perron family soon moved into the Arnold Estate and for the next decade, Carolyn and her family lived, worked, went to school and ate countless meals in the most haunted house in New England.

When the family moved into the house in 1970 they noticed a lot of quirks. Unexplainable activity would happen daily. Strange noises and smells, the lights would flicker, the clock would freeze on the same time every night and the basement had been unceremoniously boarded up for I don't know how long. The house itself has been standing for over 250 years and the land it sits on is ancient Nipmuc territory. Many people have been in the Arnold Estate, some never made it out. There is said to many ghosts roaming the house including a woman named Abigail who had 14 children when she lived on the farm and advises current guests with a ghostly whisper to "visit with respect". Or a benevolent spirit who haunts the estate purely for the joy of interacting with livings. But by far the scariest and most harrowing paranormal experience happened to Carolyn Perron, the night she was possessed.
